7:29 p.m. Brookings Police officers received a report of harassment at the Brookings Police Department. A report was generated, and the investigation is ongoing.

11:21 p.m. Brookings Police officers arrested a male with outstanding warrants in the 2100 block of 22nd Avenue South. A report was generated.

Friday, June 17

3:20 a.m. Brookings Police officers responded to the 1000 block of Main Avenue South for a juvenile incident. A report was filed.

6:04 a.m. The Brookings Police Department took a report of theft from the 400 block of 15th Street South. A report was filed.

7:37 a.m. Officer Hart responded to the 400 block of Main Avenue for a report of trespassing. An investigation is ongoing at this time.

11:14 a.m. The Brookings Police Department took a report of theft from the 600 block of 11th Avenue. A report was filed.

2:03 p.m. Officers were dispatched to the intersection of sixth Street and Fifth Avenue for a two-vehicle, non-injury accident. A report was filed.

5:32 p.m. Officers with the Brookings PD responded to the 2500 block of Larkspur Ridge Drive to conduct a welfare check. One female was transported to the Brookings Emergency Department for evaluation, and several puppies were removed from her care.

6:52 p.m. Fail to maintain financial responsibility; driving while suspended

9:14 p.m. A medical professional called the Brookings PD to advise of missing medication. A report has been generated.

10:17 p.m. Officers took a report of an alleged assault that occurred in the 500 block of Seventh Avenue South. A report was made and forwarded to the State Attorney’s Office for review.

Saturday, June 18

1:27 a.m. Dispatch notified Brookings Police officers of an assault in the 600 block of Rhonda Road. A male was arrested for aggravated assault.

1:16 p.m. Officers received a complaint of harassment. A report was generated.

Sunday, June 19

1:14 a.m. Brookings Police officers initiated a traffic stop for a traffic violation. Driver was arrested for DUI-first offense.

3:04 a.m. Officers responded to a crash which resulted in a DUI arrest.

6:14 a.m. Officers received information regarding a sexual assault. A report was generated, and the incident is under investigation.

1:47 p.m. Brookings Police stopped a vehicle for multiple violations. Marijuana, marijuana derivatives and drug paraphernalia were located during the stop.

4:38 p.m. Brookings Police stopped a vehicle being operated by a revoked driver. One male was arrested.

10:08 p.m. Brookings Police assisted Madison Police Department with an investigation. One male was taken into custody on the 300 block of 22nd Avenue. A report was filed.

10:58 p.m. Officers responded to the 500 block of Sixth Avenue South for an unresponsive male. The male was announced deceased on scene by medical personnel.

11:06 p.m. Officers responded to the 1600 block of 17th Avenue South for a report of a non-violent family offense. A female was arrested for simple assault domestic violence.
