Tuesday, March 30
6:48 a.m. A woman was arrested for disorderly conduct.
11:24 a.m. The Brookings Police Department was dispatched to Medary Avenue South and the railroad tracks for a two-vehicle, non-injury accident. A state accident report was filed.
4:35 p.m. The Brookings Police Department took a report of a hit-and-run accident that happened in the 400 block of Main Avenue. The possible suspect vehicle is black in color but unknown at this time.
11:20 p.m. Officers conducted a traffic stop in the 1400 block of 17th Avenue South. One male was arrested on suspicion of DUI. A report was generated.
Wednesday, March 31
3:06 a.m. Officers conducted a traffic stop on the I-29 northbound on-ramp from Sixth Street. An investigation was performed, and one male was arrested for multiple drug violations. A report was generated.
11:49 a.m. The Brookings Police Department was dispatched to the 1600 block of Main Avenue South for a two-vehicle, non-injury accident. A city accident report was filed.
3:13 p.m. Dispatch notified Officer Doremus of a person wanting to report a sexual assault. A report was taken.
10:45 p.m. Officers located a suspicious person in the 2100 block of 22nd Avenue South. The individual was found to have active warrants. The individual assaulted an officer and obtained additional charges.
Thursday, April 1
1:42 p.m. Brookings Police located an individual with warrants. One male was arrested.
2:45 p.m. Officers responded to the 500 block of 15th Street South for a mental health related call.
