2:16 a.m. Officer Franklin took a report of assault in the 300 block of Main Avenue.

Wednesday, Jan. 2

7:58 a.m. Officer Larsen spoke with an individual who had questions relating mental health. A report was filed.

9:37 a.m. The Brookings Police Department was requested to transport a prisoner to the Brookings County Detention Center for a parole violation.

1:57 p.m. Officer Larsen was requested to transport a probation violator to jail for a probation hold.

Thursday, Jan. 3

7:10 a.m. Officer Pollman took a report of a stolen credit card being used in the 300 block of Main Avenue.

9:42 a.m. Drug information

12:45 p.m. Possession of a controlled drug or substance; possession or use of drug paraphernalia; simple assault against a law enforcement officer; resisting arrest

Friday, Jan. 4

8:11 a.m. Officers were dispatched to the intersection of 22nd Avenue South and 20th Street South for a report of a two-vehicle, non-injury accident. A state report was filed.

9:28 a.m. Officer Jurrens responded to a one-vehicle collision in the 700 block of 22nd Avenue. One citation was issued.

10:43 a.m. Officer Pollman took a report of a purse that was lost in the 3000 block of Lefevre Drive on Nov. 25, 2018.

12:32 p.m. Officer Warkenthien conducted a welfare check in regard to a juvenile with a mark. An investigation was made, and a report has been filed for documentation.

12:50 p.m. Officer Jurrens responded to a two-vehicle collision in the 500 block of 11th Avenue. One driver was cited.
