BROOKINGS – Several items were stolen from an abandoned mobile home late last month, according to the Brookings County Sheriff’s Office.
The burglary was reported at 12:08 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 28, and occurred at 3250 Western Ave. S. in rural Brookings, Assistant Sheriff Scott Sebring said.
“The Brookings County Sheriff’s Office took a report of a burglary … from an abandoned mobile home. The owner found that the back door had been kicked in and tools, two bows, a flat screen T.V., homemade jewelry, an Xbox and a Wii were stolen,” Sebring said.
The burglary occurred sometime from Saturday, Sept. 14, to when it was noticed on Saturday, Sept. 28, he added.
