Melodee L. Peterson, 49, of Goodwin, died Monday, April 23, 2018, at Watertown Care and Rehab Center.
Memorial services are at 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 27, 2018 at the Wight & Comes Funeral Chapel in Watertown with the Rev. Carl Van Voorst officiating.
Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. today at Wight and Comes Funeral Chapel.
Melodee Lynn Peterson was born on May 11, 1968, to Warren Peterson and Jeanne (Mitchell Peterson) Goens in Brookings. She attended school in Brookings through her junior year.
Survivors: her parents, Jeanne and Harvey Goens of Goodwin; her sister, Lisa Peterson of Heidelberg, Germany; uncles David Mitchell and Roland Goens both of Brookings; aunts and uncles Evelyn and Larry Bakke of Estelline, Audrey and Mark Appelhof of Clear Lake, Lyle “Lum” and Lynda Peterson of Volga and Andy and Karen Gaukel of Volga.
