BROOKINGS – The Brookings High School Marching Band Fall Preview and Food Truck Fundraiser, a sneak peek of this season’s field performance, is set for 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 18, at the BHS south parking lot.
The location is a last-minute change due to possible weather conditions.
The free performance is open to everyone in the community.
In case of rain, the event will move to the BHS gym.
Before the show, from 6 to 7 p.m., Backyard Grill’s food truck will have $12 meal plates, each including a pulled pork sandwich, chips and a drink, available while supplies last. Organizers say 75% of sales will benefit the band program.
Limited bleacher seating is available, so attendees may wish to bring their own lawn chairs or blankets.
Additional information about the event is available on the band boosters’ Facebook page.
