BROOKINGS – An alleged incident at Ray’s Corner resulted in a Brookings man being arrested on an outstanding warrant, according to Brookings Police.
The initial call at 12:43 a.m. Saturday was for a report of an individual waving a knife around, according to the police blotter.
Tyrell Maldacker, 30, of Brookings, was arrested on an outstanding warrant out of Brookings County, Lt. Marci Gebers said.
“Nobody wished to pursue charges for him waving the knife around, so he was only arrested for the outstanding warrant,” Gebers said.
Maldacker is scheduled to make an initial court appearance today on a petition to revoke probation.
