BROOKINGS – A Brookings man was arrested for simple assault Thursday, according to the Brookings Police.
The incident was reported at 8:23 p.m. Thursday and occurred in the 900 block of 25th Avenue, Sgt. Joel Perry said.
“Police were called to that area for a fight in progress, and when they arrived, they found a 33-year-old male outside,” Perry said.
“After investigation, (they) found out the male was involved in an altercation inside and he was arrested for simple assault,” Perry said.
There were no injuries and alcohol was involved, he added.
