Kenneth Vaske, 89, of Watertown, died Friday, Dec. 29, 2017, at his residence.
Funeral services are at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Holy Name Catholic Church in Watertown. The celebrants will be the Rev. Michael Wensing and the Rev. Philip Vaske. Military honors will be conducted by South Dakota Army National Guard at the church. Burial will be at Black Hills National Cemetery in Sturgis.
Kenneth LeRoy Vaske was born on Jan. 31, 1928, in Windom, Minneota, to Bernard F. and Margaret A. (Tighe) Vaske. Ken grew up on a farm outside Elkton.
Local survivors include a brother, Clayton (Arlene) Vaske and a sister-in-law, Mildred Vaske, all of Brookings.
