BROOKINGS – Have you wanted to try out hunting but don’t know where to start? On Aug. 30 at 6:30 p.m. the Brookings Public Library will host an Explore Hunting class in partnership with the South Dakota Game, Fish and Parks Department.
GFP representative Jason Nelson will give a comprehensive introduction to hunting and bow hunting in South Dakota. He will cover topics like gear, game and skills you need to be a safe and successful hunter.
Space is limited and registration is required. Call the library starting Monday to reserve your spot.
