BROOKINGS – The Brookings Solid Waste Division is extending free dumping of storm debris for Brookings County residents through May 31 at the Brookings Regional Landfill, the city announced in a news release.
Free dumping will also be available for contractors (trees/branches that came from storm damage only) at the Citizens Campus through May 31.
“The city is asking residents to please assist cleanup crews by hauling their storm debris to the landfill if they are able,” the news release states.
