SIOUX FALLS – Anthony Seykora stopped all 16 shots he faced to help the undefeated Flyers (9-0) beat the Rangers in a South Dakota Amateur Hockey Association boys’ matchup Saturday afternoon at the PREMIER Center.
Following a scoreless first period, Sam Siegel scored on an assist from Trey Ponto with 1:54 remaining in the second.
Cole Teigen added an empty-net goal with 16 seconds left in the third as Brookings’ Philip Kuechenmeister made 28 saves.
The Rangers (4-5) play at Sioux Center on Friday at 8:15 p.m., at Huron on Saturday at 8 p.m. and at Oahe on Sunday at 4 p.m.
