Divers upend Waverly-South Shore

WAVERLY – Lake Preston evened their season record at 6-6 with a straight set win over Waverly-South Shore on Monday night in Waverly.

The Divers won by set scores of 25-15, 25-16, 25-19.

Ava Malone dropped in four service aces and had twelve digs.

Jocelyn Steffensen added 11 digs to go along with three service aces and nine set assists.

Faith Steffensen led the Divers with nine kills and also picked up a solo block.

For Waverly-South Shore, whose record falls to 0-13 on the season, Bridget Eschen had seven kills and Rianne Basye added six.

Kaelyn Williams provided nine digs, while Lily Revalee added eight along with a pair of service aces.

The Divers are right back in action tonight as they travel to Willow Lake to take on the Cyclones of Clark/Willow Lake. First serve of the varsity match is set for 6 p.m.
