BROOKINGS – Holiday fun for everyone.
Century 21 Krogman and Co. is sponsoring the 2022 “Let it Glow” Holiday Light Competition.
Proceeds from this event will be in support of The Brookings Area Habitat for Humanity.
Brookings residents are invited to show off their holiday decorating skills with lights, lawn décor and more to bring holiday cheer for all to enjoy. Those entered are eligible to win cash prizes in one of three categories: Best in Show (voted on by Secret Santa), Clark Griswold (voted on by Buddy the Elf) and People’s Choice (voted on by the public via text).
There is still time to participate, you can sign up by contacting receptionist@ century21gka.com or calling 605-692-2100 to register. The deadline is Wednesday, with voting beginning Friday and ending Jan. 2. A map will be available to help take you on your holiday light tour. As you sip your hot cocoa and drive the neighborhoods keep track of your favorite displays and then you will text the display number (1-99) to 503-342-0134. Limit one vote per phone number, please. After voting you will also be able to give a free will donation to the Brookings Area Habit for Humanity, whose work is making home ownership possible for many in our community. Winners will be contacted and announced after the competition is complete.
