David Walth, 68, Mitchell, died Thursday, Nov 19, 2020 at Dougherty Hospice House in Sioux Falls. Due to COVID restrictions a private family ceremony will be 9 a.m. Wednesday, November 25 at the Bittner Funeral Chapel. Masks are required. Arrangements by Bittner Funeral Chapel.
David was born April 5, 1952, in Aberdeen, SD to Otto and Mildred (Werre) Walth. He lived and went to school at Roscoe, SD. He later resided in Ipswich and Aberdeen until his mother passed away on March 4, 2008. He then moved to Cathedral Squares in Mitchell. He loved having coffee, playing bingo, dining out and being with family and friends. A special thank you to Cathedral Squares and Lifequest for all of their friendships and care.
He is survived by his brother, Ronald (Darlene) Walth of Austin, MN, sisters: Kathy (Roger) Rands of Mitchell, Debbie (Tim) DeWitt of Brookings, Jeanne Walth of Sioux Falls, aunts: Phyllis Huber of Sioux Falls, Jan Schock of Bowdle and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, Philip and Katie Were, uncles and aunts Bruce and Leone (Were) Morrison, Calvin Huber and Delmar Schock.
