Dakota Wind Quintet closes Brookings Chamber Music Society season Sunday

BROOKINGS – The Brookings Chamber Music Society will complete its 2020-21 music season with a concert featuring the Dakota Wind Quintet at 2:30 p.m. Sunday. 

The performance will take place in the Larson Concert Hall at Oscar Larson Performing Arts Center on the South Dakota State University campus.

Music selections for the concert include quintets by Harald Genzmer, Pavel Haas, Paul Hindemith and Arne Running.

The quintet consists of William Cedeno Torres playing the flute, Jeffrey Paul playing the oboe, John Tomkins on the bassoon, Christopher Hill on the clarinet and Daniel Kitchens playing the horn. They also are principal woodwind players of the South Dakota Symphony Orchestra based in Sioux Falls.

 Seating for all performance activities at the Oscar Larson Performing Arts Center is limited due to the COVID-19 protocols. A limited number of seats are still available by calling the SDSU School of Performing Arts at 688-5187.
