BROOKINGS – The Bobcats went 1-1 in a home triangular Thursday at Hillcrest Tennis Courts, beating Huron 7-2 and falling by a 6-3 margin to Madison.
The Bobcats (1-7) return to action with another triangular Friday, Sept. 8, taking on Rapid City Central at noon and Watertown at 5 p.m.

The Bobcats won five of the six singles matches and two of the three doubles matches to pick up their first dual victory of the season.
Jane Ardry defeated Audrey Rubish 10-4 in the No. 1 singles match. Abby Enevoldsen beat Megan Clark 10-2 at No. 2.
Ardry and Enevoldsen teamed for a 10-5 win over Rubish and Kayla Harvey at No. 1 doubles.
Skylor Ness made quick work of Htee Say at No. 6 singles, winning 10-0.
Dhwani Kharel dropped Abby Thomas 10-6 at No. 4 and Marina Du topped Jaycee Clark 10-7 in the No. 5 matchup.
Du and Ness were 10-3 victors over Say and Madelynn Lord in the No. 3 doubles match.

Ness capped a 4-0 triangular with two more victories.
She beat Evelyn Graham 8-0 at No. 6 singles and teamed with Du for an 8-3 triumph versus Kruger and Emily Van Liere in No. 3 doubles.
Wray and C.C. Grahm topped Ardry and Enevoldsen 8-4 at No. 1 doubles.
