BROOKINGS – Chef Michael Siegel and his crew from Midwest Fresh Catering, and The Brookings Home Team powered by Century 21 Krogman and Co. teamed up on Friday, Oct. 9, to offer a free lunch to the Brookings School District teachers.
Siegel pulled up the food truck in front of the Brookings High School, and the teachers were invited to come out to enjoy their choice of three menu options during their lunch hour and treated to this free meal.
It was just a small token of appreciation from the Brookings Home Team and Midwest Fresh to say “thank you” to all the teachers for doing what they are doing during COVID-19 and these challenging times they face as they try to continue to educate these students.
Mike and Sheana at Midwest Fresh Catering and Shane Andersen, Gayle Chapel, Janean Caugherty and Savannah Schumacher of the Brookings Home Team expressed their gratitude to the educators.
