Wednesday, Sept. 21
9:21 a.m. Aggravated assault. Officer Schneider was made aware of a juvenile incident that had taken place after school the previous day. An investigation was made, and a report was generated.
7:07 p.m. Officer Page took a report of vandalism to a vehicle’s windshield at 408 Third Ave. S. No. 134.
7:13 p.m. Officers took a report of an alleged domestic assault that occurred in the 300 block of Second Avenue. A report was made and forwarded to the State’s Attorney’s Office for review.
9:30 p.m. Officers responded to a report of a hit and run accident that occurred in the 1400 block of Sixth Street. A report was filed.
Thursday, Sept. 22
1:53 a.m. Officer Page took a report of a stolen long board from behind Sully’s bar.
2:37 p.m. The Brookings Police Department responded to the 2400 block of Yorkshire Drive for an unattended death.
7:52 p.m. A Brookings Police officer took a report of a hit and run accident.
Friday, Sept. 23
1:40 a.m. A traffic stop was initiated. The driver was issued a citation for possession or use of drug paraphernalia.
2:29 a.m. A traffic stop was initiated for speeding. The driver was arrested for DUI-second offense.
8:44 a.m. Non-injury accident.
10:15 a.m. Officers responded to the 300 block of Second Avenue to a report of an unattended death. The incident was investigated and reported.
10:18 a.m. Officers received a report regarding fraud. A report was filed.
2:11 p.m. School Resource Officer Warkenthien was notified of juvenile in possession of an electronic tobacco device. An investigation was made, and the juvenile was issued a citation for underage possession of tobacco. A juvenile report has been filed.
6:55 p.m. A Brookings Police officer took a report of vandalism.
7:21 p.m. A Brookings Police officer took a report of vandalism.
