BROOKINGS – It was a victorious night for the Brookings gymnastics team. The Bobcacts finished in first place in a quadrangular against Sioux Falls Lincoln, Sioux Falls Roosevelt and Sioux Falls Washington.

BROOKINGS – It was a victorious night for the Brookings gymnastics team. The Bobcacts finished in first place in a quadrangular against Sioux Falls Lincoln, Sioux Falls Roosevelt and Sioux Falls Washington.
Brookings finished with a score of 139.850. Lincoln came in second (136.650) and Roosevelt came in third (134.350). Washington rounded out the pack with a score of 91.850.
Lincoln senior Elizabeth Boysen was the top all-around scorer at 35.850. Brookings junior Rachel Gannon came in second with a score of 35.800.
Brookings’ Tayla Dobrenski finished with an all-around score of 34.600. Delilah Fuls of the Bobcats had a score of 33.800 and Lily Siemsonsma finished with 33.300.
The Bobcats won the uneven bars with a score of 33.900. Isabella Portz had the top score for Brookings (8.850) and Rachel Gannon was not far behind her (8.750).
Siemonsma did well on the bars as well with a score of 8.200. Hanna Walsh scored a 8.100 for the Bobcats on the bars.
Brookings also won the balance beam. Fuls was the leader for the Bobcats on the beam with a score of 8.800. Lizzy Gannon finished with a score of. 8.500 for Brookings. Fuls had the top score out of anyone.
Lincoln won the Vault (35.850) and Brookings came in second (35.800). Rachel Gannon led the Bobcats with a score of 9.050. Fuls was next for Brookings (8.900) and Dobrenski had a good score as well (8.850).
Siemonsma had a score of 8.650 in the vault. Kasey Bachar rounded things out for the Bobcats with a score of 8.450.
Brookings also came in second on the floor. They tied Roosevelt (35.950) and Lincoln came out on top (36.150). Rachel Gannon led the Bobacts once again as she scored a 9.650 on the floor. Dobrenski finished with a 9.500 and Fuls had a 8.800.
