A steady stream of cars through the Ascension Lutheran parking lot from 1 to 3 p.m. brought out volunteers to help the needy. They brought an abundance of peanut butter, tuna and cereal plus lots of other staples. Feeding Brookings distributes boxes of food to those in need each Thursday at Ascension Lutheran Church.
