BROOKINGS – The Bobcats will have a new head coach for the 2022-2023 season.
Brookings High School Activities Administrator Mike Jewett on Monday announced that Travis Engebretson submitted his resignation as the head coach of the Bobcat boys’ basketball team.
In 15 years as head coach, Engebretson compiled a record of 124-210, including a record of 1-18 during the 2021-2022 basketball season in which the Bobcats did not qualify for the SoDak 16.
Jewett says the search for a new coach is now underway.
