Saturday, March 4
12:12 a.m. BPD responded to a domestic disturbance. One female was arrested.
12:46 a.m. Brookings Police arrested a female for aggravated domestic assault.
1:29 a.m. BPD stopped a vehicle for a stop light violation. The driver was arrested for DUI.
2:40 a.m. Officers conducted a traffic stop in the downtown area. One male was arrested for DUI.
2:58 p.m. Police responded to a disgruntled customer at Walmart
Sunday, March 5
12:10 a.m. An officer responded to the 400 block of Main Avenue for an ID check. Upon arrival, the suspect fled on foot. Charges for possession of fictitious ID and obstruction are pending.
1:17 a.m. An officer made contact with an individual in the 400 block of Main Avenue. The individual was cited with littering and underage consumption.
1:24 a.m. Officers arrested an individual in the 400 block of Main Avenue for possession of a fictitious drivers license.
2:39 a.m. Officers responded to the 300 block of Main Avenue to a report of a stolen vehicle.
10:30 a.m. Police arrested a male with an active warrant.
1:34 p.m. Officers responded to a domestic disturbance.
5:55 p.m. Officers responded to the 2200 block of Sixth Street to a report of a person with an active arrest warrant. One arrest made
3:58 p.m. Intentional damage to property — second degree vandalism.
Monday, March 6
9:49 a.m. Law enforcement took a report of a harassment.
10:10 a.m. Officers responded to a hit and run. Report was taken.
10:13 a.m. Police responded to the 700 block of Seventh Avenue South. One male was arrested for trespassing.
12:09 p.m. Officers were informed of a two vehicle non-injury accident. The report was taken.
2:26 p.m. Law enforcement completed a city accident report.
8:18 p.m. Brookings Police Department conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 500 Block of Main Avenue. The vehicle was towed and charges are pending against the driver.
8:27 p.m. Brookings Police Department received a rape report. The incident occurred in Sioux Falls. A report was completed to be forwarded to the Sioux Falls Police Department.
Tuesday, March 7
1:22 a.m. The Brookings Police Department responded to a report of a gas drive off at the Corner Pantry. One suspect was later arrested for theft.
1:22 a.m. BPD stopped a vehicle for a stop sign violation. The driver was arrested on a warrant, and had just committed two other thefts prior to the traffic stop.
8:12 a.m. The school resource officer was made aware of a threat made to another individual. A juvenile report has been filed.
6:07 p.m. BPD was notified of a possible sexual assault. The investigation is ongoing.
