The threat was received in an email on Friday at approximately 7:50 a.m., according to information on SDSU’s website. It indicated that an explosive device or devices were planted on the SDSU campus and, furthermore, threatened additional harm to potential survivors of any detonations.
The UPD carried out searches at all of the identified locations, whereupon no devices were found. Per the website, the UPD is continuing its investigation and is pursuing any leads that come up.
No new information was available as of Monday, according to Mike Lockrem, the director of University Marketing & Communications.
