The Brookings Bobcat grapplers enter the Region 1A Tournament this Saturday in Watertown looking to qualify a number of wrestlers for the Class A boys state tournament the following weekend in Rapid City.
And while the team will not be taking part in the dual portion of the tournament after finishing outside of the seeded dual teams, the Bobcats aim to claim spots for a number of wrestlers for the individual portion of the tournament.
Additionally, Cherish Stern will take a 13-1 record into the inaugural girls wrestling state tournament after qualifying as region champion this past weekend in Harrisburg.
