Bobcat volleyball swept at O’Gorman

SIOUX FALLS – O’Gorman remained undefeated, picking up their sixth win of the season, as the Lady Knights picked defeated Brookings in volleyball on Saturday afternoon in Sioux Falls.

The Lady Knights won in straight sets of 26-24, 25-18, and 25-18.

Brookings had 23 total kills. Tayla Dobrenski had seven and Gracie Adamson added six for the Bobcats.

Dobrenski picked up three blocks and Landree Wilson added two for Brookings.

Riley Weisbeck picked up ten digs, Adamson had eight, and Wilson posted six.

Wilson also dropped in three of the six service aces for the Bobcats.

For the Lady Knights, Macy Matheson and Brooke Harvison each had four aces.

Isabella Steffel had 17 kills for O’Gorman.

The Lady Knights also won the JV match (23-25, 25-19, 15-8), sophomore match (26-24, 25-19), and freshman “A” game (19-25, 25-15, 16-14).

The Bobcats picked up a win in the freshman “B” game, winning in three sets, 25-13, 26-28, and 15-5.

Brookings (3-7) travels to Mitchell tomorrow night for a matchup witht the Kernels. First serve of the varsity match is at 7 p.m.
