Brookings School Board

The Brookings School District Board of Education will hold a workshop/meeting at 6 p.m. Monday at the Dakota Prairie Elementary School at 111 26th St. S. Items on the agenda include:

• Approve agenda

• Conflict of interest declarations

• Comments from the audience

• Land use presentation from the City of Brookings

• Facility planning RFP and timeline discussion

• Review of board goals

• Legislative updates

• Approve computer lease

• Resolution authorizing the tax limited capital outlay refunding certificates

Brookings City Council

Brookings City Council will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday in the City and County Government Center at 520 Third St. Items on the agenda include:

• Action to abate property taxes in the amount of $2,372.50 for a parcel known as 659 Faculty Drive located  in  the College Addition, owned by the City of Brookings
