BROOKINGS — It was a packed day on May 9 on the campus of South Dakota State University as around 1,800 people transitioned from students to graduates, crossing the stage and receiving their diplomas in three ceremonies — 10 a.m., 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. The graduates were joined by thousands of guests — families, friends and more.
