I invite you to support Marcie Dierks, a long-time Brookings Resident, in her bid for an open seat on the Brookings School Board. Dierks is a Science Teacher. Dierks is an SDSU graduate. Marcie taught for 9 years at Brookings High School. She is currently an online teacher with the School of Education at Northern State University. She teaches science courses online and on zoom to several rural schools in South Dakota where it is a challenge to find and hire qualified science teachers. Dierks’ commitment is to assist in the team work to prepare South Dakota students for their future endeavors.
Dierks has the foundational background in education and intelligence to support students, teachers, and parents who are in the Brookings School System. Join me in voting for Marcie Dierks for the Brookings School Board.
