• The Brookings Toastmasters Club meets every Monday that is not a holiday from noon to 1 p.m. at the Brookings Area United Way at 908 Hope Drive. • A free postpartum support group for moms and babies under 2 will be held from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at Conference Room C of Brookings Health System. The group is led by licensed clinician Elizabeth Milton of Tumblweed Counseling. For more information, call 605-736-2106.

• The Brookings Radio Research Club meets on the first Monday of the month at 7 p.m. in the basement of the Brookings Public Safety Building (police station). The meetings are open to any member of the public, whether they are an official member or not.

• New Beginnings Baby Café supports breastfeeding mothers in every aspect of nursing, from starting to weaning and every variation in between. It is facilitated by two registered nurses who are also IBCLC lactation consultants. All pregnant and breastfeeding moms are welcome to attend. New Beginnings Baby Café occurs every Thursday evening from 10 a.m. to noon.
