BROOKINGS — Diners socialized over drinks and sample small plates at the annual Taste of Brookings on Thursday evening at the Dacotah Bank Center.
The annual event — which in past years was hosted by the Brookings Area Chamber of Commerce — is now under the umbrella of the Brookings Regional Growth Alliance. On hand to meet and greet attendees was Lori Frederick, the alliance’s new chief executive officer.
The program took a look back at the accomplishments of the four organizations that merged to form the alliance: the Brookings Area Chamber of Commerce; the Brookings Economic Development Corp.; Downtown Brookings; and Visit Brookings.
The alliance also unveiled its new brand and logo at the event.
