HURON The Colman-Egan volleyball season came to an end on Tuesday as the Hawks were swept by Warner in the Class B SoDak16 at Huron Arena.
The Hawks battled in each set as they lost by scores of 25-21, 25-20 and 25-23.
Finley Luze had a triple-double for CE with 13 kills, 10 digs and 16 assists. She also had two aces. Caelee LeBrun had 15 kills and Brynlee Landis had 14 digs and two aces. Kinley Geigle had eight digs and Michoen Williamson had five blocks.
Colman-Egan finished with a 22-7 record. Chester, Northwestern, Warner, Parkston, Bennett County, Harding County, Gayville-Volin and Harding County qualified for the Class B State Tournament, which will be played in Rapid City next weekend.
