Colman-Egan, Iroquois/Lake Preston and Estelline/Hendricks all finished the volleyball regular season victories early in the week.
The Hawks closed the season with a five-set win over Dell Rapids St. Mary. The Sharks beat Oldham-Ramona-Rutland in four sets and the Redhawks topped Elkton-Lake Benton in four sets.
Colman-Egan 3, Dell Rapids St. Mary 2
The two teams split the first two sets with CE winning the first set 25-18 and St. Marys winning set two 25-20. The Hawks would then win the third set 25-17 and the Cardinals forced a fifth set with a 25-21 win in set four. CE would then come out on top in the winner-take-all set with a 15-12 victory.
Brynlee Landis led the Hawks with 13 kills and five blocks. Harper Mousel had 12 kills and Mauryn Landis had nine digs. Caelee LeBrun had 11 digs, eight kills and three blocks. Kinley Geigle had nine digs and four aces. Finley Luze had 15 assists and two aces. Michoen Williamson had five kills and three blocks.
Colman-Egan finished the regular season with a record of 20-6 and will be the No. 3 seed in the Region 3B Playoffs. The Hawks will host No. 6 seeded Sanborn Central/Woonsocket on Tuesday at 7:15 p.m.
Iroquois/Lake Preston 3, Oldham-Ramona-Rutland 1
The Raiders won the first set and the Sharks then won three-straight. ORR had a 25-19 win in set one and ILP answered with wins of 25-19, 25-14 and 25-17.
Hadlee Holt had 13 kills and 31 digs to lead ILP. Bentlee Holt had seven kills and Brityn Davies had 17 digs. Madisen Steffensen had 17 digs and Sydney Bonomi had 27 assists.
The Raiders were led by Brooklyn Riedel who had 12 kills and four assists. Rylan Pearson had 16 digs and five kills. Gabby Pickard had 26 digs and Jordyn Reagle had 15 digs. Rylan Pearson had nine assists.
ILP finished 11-19 and ORR finished 7-22. The two teams will play in the 8/9 matchup in the Region 2B Playoffs on Monday.
Estelline/Hendricks 3, Elkton-Lake Benton 1
The Elks won set one and the Redhawks then rattled off three-straight victories. ELB won set one 25-23 and EH won sets two, three and four by scores of 25-20, 25-20 and 25-18.
Estelline/Hendricks was led by Presley Bury who had 23 assists, 15 digs and 13 kills.Elyse Wegner who had 17 kills. Lita Fryer had 14 kills and Allie Duenwald had 43 digs. Kimmy Schaefer had 15 digs and Cambry Bury had 21 assists.
ELB was led by Charlie Thooft who had 13 kills and 17 digs. Quinn Slegers had 17 digs and Sydney DeVries had eight kills. Kadence Olberding had 13 assists and Payton Kuehl had 10 assists.
Estelline/Hendricks is now 22-8 and will be the No. 3 seed in the Region 2B Playoffs. The Redhawks will host No. 6 seeded Deubrook Area on Tuesday. Elkton-Lake Benton finished the regular season with a record of 8-19 and will be the No. 5 seed in the Region 2A Playoffs. The Elks will play at No. 4 seeded Great Plains Lutheran on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
