Bobcat cheer comes in fourth at state, dance comes in 16th

WATERTOWN The Brookings competitive cheer and dance teams concluded the 2025 at the Class AA State Competition at the Watertown Civic Arena on Saturday.

The Bobcat cheer team came in fourth place and the dance team finished in 16th. The Brookings cheer team had a score of 278. Harrisburg won the cheer title with a score of 295.5. OGorman finished in second (294.5) and Sioux Falls Jefferson came in third (288).

The Brookings dance team had a score of 456. The Bobcats had a score of 231.5 in the pom portion of the competition and they scored a 224.4 in hip hop. Brandon Valley won the dance title with an overall score of 592.5.
