WATERTOWN The Brookings and Sioux Valley competitive cheer and dance teams competed at the Watertown Invite on Thursday night.
The Bobcat cheer team came in second place with a score of 288.50. The Cossacks came in sixth place with a score of 267.00. Harrisburg won the cheer title with a score of 292.00.
The Brookings dance team came in 11th place with a score of 441.00. The Bobcats came in ninth in hip hop with a score of 218. They also came in ninth in pom with a score of 223. Brandon Valley won the dance competition with a score of 588.50.
Brookings will host the Eastern South Dakota Conference Meet on Oct. 16 at 5 p.m.
