Brookings Health holds ribbon-cutting ceremony for new Yorkshire facility

BROOKINGS Brookings Health System held a ribbon cutting and open house for the new Yorkshire Medical Building on Sept. 8. Located at 2311 Yorkshire Drive, the location houses both Yorkshire Eye Clinic & Optical and outpatient therapy services from both Avera and Brookings Health System.

Yorkshire Eye Clinic & Optical moved to the new clinic location in June. The team offers comprehensive eye care with ophthalmology, optometry and optical services. Patients can receive routine eye exams, contact lenses, prescription glasses, cataract evaluations and surgery, and pre- and post-operative LASIK care.

The outpatient therapy clinic has added aquatic therapy with a new therapy pool as well as generous therapy gym space and treatment rooms. The team offers the only comprehensive rehabilitative services in Brookings that combines physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech-language pathology.
