ABERDEEN The Brookings boys golf team shot a season low at the Hub City Invitational at Lee Park Golf Course on Tuesday.
The Bobcats came in second place after shooting a 300 as a team and were one shot behind Watertown, who came in first place. Aberdeen Roncalli came in third (304) and Aberdeen Central finished in fourth (308). Pierre came in fifth (325).
Brookings Tyson Lunn was tied for the lead after shooting a one-under 70 after 18 holes. He then lost a three-hole playoff to Watertowns Jorme Zebroski. Jase Bauer shot a season-best 75 and came in sixth. Andrew Heinze medaled as well and came in 13th with a 77. Jack Baszler came in 18th (79) and Rhys Heiberger finished in 25th (83). Isaak Earley rounded things out for the Bobcats, coming in 27th (84).
Brookings will compete in the Yankton Invite at the Hillcrest Golf & Country Club on Sept. 12.
