Winners of the eighth annual Oakwood Lakes Trail Run came from near and far on Saturday.
In the 8-mile division, the winners were the Brookings couple Jerid and Jessica Kieso with times of 1:14:53 and 1:46:08, respectively. Topping a field of 24 in the 4-mile division were Edwin Gomez of El Paso, Texas, (27:39) and Kaelyn Ulschmid of Arlington (32:55). There were a total of 27 runners.
The top five runners in the 4-mile division were Gomez, Karsten Lerwick (31:15), Mario Gomez (31:42), Jackson Hestermann (32:40) and Ulschmid.
