Authorities identify man killed in crash near Reva

REVA A Minnesota man who died in a single-vehicle crash Friday morning 4 miles east of Reva has been identified by authorities.

Preliminary crash information indicates Brian Keith Huber, 58 and of Frazee, Minnesota, was driving a 2017 Ford F150 pulling an enclosed trailer, traveling south on sttate Highway 79 near mile marker 204 when the vehicle crossed the center line and entered the east ditch. The trailer separated from the vehicle and overturned. The truck came to rest in a nearby field.

Brian Huber was taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital and was pronounced dead. His spouse, Gloria Shalone Huber, 53, was a passenger in the vehicle and wasn’t injured.

Brian Huber was using a seat belt, while his wife wasn’t, according to the news release from the South Dakota Department of Public Safety.

The South Dakota Highway Patrol is investigating the crash. All information released so far is only preliminary.
