BROOKINGS The Brookings Area United Ways Volunteer United program recently announced that Brecken and Adler Thompson have been named the July 2025 Volunteers of the Month, an area-wide award program sponsored by First Bank & Trust.
Brecken and Adler volunteer with the Brookings Area United Way. They faithfully mow the lawn and tackle all sorts of yard work ensuring that our community can enjoy attractive outdoor spaces.
Their consistent kindness and hard work have sparked a well-deserved nomination for Julys Volunteer of the Month.
According to a United Way news release, Brecken and Adlers enthusiasm and teamwork shine a light on the incredible impact even young volunteers can have when they invest their time and energy in the heart of their community. We truly couldnt do this without them. Brecken and Adler, thank you for being such an essential part of this work.
