PIERRE On July 15, South Dakota Gov. Larry Rhoden will visit Brookings, Madison, and Volga on his “Open for Opportunity” tour.
Rhoden will begin his day in Madison, where he will speak at the Heartland Energy Conference. Heartland Energy is a public power company providing energy solutions to South Dakota and its neighboring states.
He will also stop by Prostrollo Auto Mall, highlighting the automotive industrys impact on the state’s growing economy.
In Volga, the governor will tour Houdek, which provides aquaculture, pet nutrition, and human health markers with sustainable, traceable, and highly valuable food ingredients.
“Rhoden continues to keep South Dakotans strong, safe, and free,” per a news release from his office. “Thanks to Medgene, a Brookings-based animal health company, our state is ensuring that the same is true of our animal species.”
