SIOUX FALLS On July 10, a traffic switch is scheduled to take place on southbound Interstate 29 on the bridge over Skunk Creek in Sioux Falls. Traffic will be placed in the two easternmost lanes to allow for crews to complete work in the two westernmost lanes.
This traffic configuration is anticipated to be in place until Aug. 15. Once work is complete, traffic will be restored to its traditional configuration.
The prime contractor for this $7.4 million project is General Excavating LLC of Lincoln, Nebraska. The overall project completion date is Oct. 17.
