With a strollers-welcome policy, the race also is a magnet for citizen runners and walkers who want to join others for some morning exercise. Start time is 8 a.m.

Online registration is preferred and is available right up to race time.

Packet pickup is at Jackrabbit Central, 416 Main Ave., in Brookings from 5 to 6 pm. July 11. Runners can also register at this time. Race day registration is 7 to 7:30 a.m. in front of the courthouse. Rain site is the Fifth Street Gym.
