The Volga White 14U won the Sioux Falls Slam over the weekend.
Volga White 14U dispatched five opponents on the way to claiming the title, enforcing the mercy rule in each contest.
Volga had a complete weekend, on the mound, in the field and at the plate.
The offense put up 76 runs on 60 hits, batting .462 for the tourney. Teagan Moad led the way going 10 for 12 on the weekend. Jamison Tanderup led in RBIs with 10. Damon Uecker and Kade Hauck supplied the power with a triple each, and Hauck launching a championship game bomb.
After a pair of opening inning errors, the defense only committed one the rest of the tourney, including putting up zeros in the E column the last three games.
Pitching was strong from a multitude of arms; giving up six runs on 15 hits while striking out 29 opponents throughout the tourney.
Volga moved to 13-3 on the season.
