MARSHALL, Minn. The Brookings 11U Black team won a tournament in Marshall over the weekend.
Brookings won four games to earn the championship. They beat Wilmar (Minnesota) 23-2 in the first game and then beat Luverne (Minnesota) 6-1 in the second game. In the semifinals, Brookings topped Luverne 11-2 and then they defeated Marshall 5-1 in the championship.
Team members include Brodie Bahe, Cooper Hyde, Griffyn Meendering, Theo Treml, Jaxon Fedeler, Dawson Hegerfeld, Jake Romsa, Joe Romsa, Max Harris, Briggs Hanson and Camden Wagner.
