The Brookings First Lutheran Church Mission Quilters gratefully acknowledge the significant support provided by the Brookings Register to promote our recent Tie One On Quilting Bee. The attendance and productivity exceeded our expectations!
We continue to welcome volunteers of all faiths to our weekly work sessions. The quilts will find new homes through both local sources and through Lutheran World Relief. From here, the quilts find their way to disaster areas across the globe.
Getting our invitation out to a broad audience through the Register made a difference in our overall success. Thank you for the work you are doing to create community and keep Brookings informed.
