WATERTOWN Six area teams completed the second round of the boys and girls Class B State Golf Tournament on Tuesday in Watertown.
The Flandreau, Colman-Egan, Arington, Elkton-Lake Benton and Estelline/Hendricks boys teams competed at Cattail Crossing Golf Course, while the Colman-Egan, Deubrook Area, Estelline/Hendricks and Elkton-Lake Benton girls teams competed at Prairie Winds Golf Course.
Boys
The Flandreau boys tied for seventh with a team score of 488. Alfie Henderson was the top area finisher on the boys side as he tied for eighth with a total of 152. Kaden Burshiem and Hunter Bushkofsky each tied for 53rd (167). Jon Burshiem tied for 63rd (169).
Colman-Egans Taylor Kriech tied for 15th with a score of 156. Jack Whitehouse tied for 93rd for the Hawks (175).
Elkton-Lake Bentons Tanner Drietz tied for 47th (165) and Arlingtons Bryce Heflin tied for 63rd (169). Estelline/Hendricks Colsen Texley tied for 114th (184) and Atticus Eyjolfson tied for 129th for the Redhawks (191).
Girls
Estelline/Hendricks Ayla Texley was the top area finisher on the girls side as she tied for 13th with a total of 177. Elkton-Lake Bentons Malyha Slegers tied for 35th (195).
Deubrook Area came in seventh with a team total of 583. Brooklyn Gladis was the top finisher for the Dolphins and she came in 27th (188). Brynlee Hanson tied for 35th (195) and Ava Crooks tied for 49th (205). Sienna Ohlsen tied for 61st (214).
Colman-Egan finished in 11th as a team with a score of 630. Savana Schmidt tied for 43rd (201) and Mauryn Landis tied for 51st (206). Aspen Clark tied for 72nd (233).
