SIOUX FALLS The Colman-Egan boys came in first in the Class B State Track & Field Meet over the weekend at Howard Wood Field and the CE girls finished in second.
Boys
Colman-Egan
The Hawks came in first with 78 points.
Christopher Lee won the 100 meter dash with a time of 10.94 seconds. Hayden Pearson, Mikano Lee, Christopher Lee and Jack Mousel came in first in the 4×100 relay (43.47). Jase Mousel, Mikano Lee, Jack Mousel and Christopher Lee won the 4×200 (1:29.95).
Jack Mousel finished in third in the 200 meter run (22.06) and Jase Mousel came in third in the 400 meter run (50.59). Jackson Zwart finished in second in the 300 meter hurdles (40.56) and fourth in the 110 meter hurdles (15.61). Sutton Bunde came in eighth in the 800 (2:02.31) and 14th in the 1600 (4:47.04).
Jack Mousel came in sixth in the high jump (05-10.00) and Caden Zwart finished in eighth in the same event (5-10.00). Jase Mousel came in third in the triple jump (43-00.75) and Jackson Zwart came in fifth in the same event (40-07.25). Jackson Zwart came in the long jump (21-02.50) and Jase Mousel finished fifth in the same event (21-00.75).
Deubrook Area
The Dolphins came in 34th with five points.
Charlie Olsen came in ninth in the 1600 (4:43.27) and 18th in the 800 (2:05.68). Olsen, Josh Mitchell, Brady Gladis and Josh Moberg finished in sixth in the 4×800 relay (8:37.31). Ty Landmark came in 15th in the triple jump (38-04.50).
Arlington
The Cardinals came in 29th with seven points.
Jake Burns came in second in the pole vault (12-09.00). Lance Kaufman finished 18th in the 3200 (10:55.86).
Estelline/Hendricks
Cooper Schaefer came in 10th in the 1600 (4:43.64) and Larkin Schultz finished 10th in the high jump (5-10.00).
Oldham-Ramona-Rutland
Cooper Merager finished in 22nd in the javelin (123-00).
Girls
Colman-Egan
The CE girls came in second with 45.5 points.
Jolie Flatten came in third in the 400 meter run (59.37). Crystal Silva-Dominguez, Finley Luze, Brynlee Landis, and Jolie Flatten won the 4×200 relay (1:45.62). That same team also won the 4×400 (4:06.63). Elaina Rhode, Finley Luze, Avery Baumberger and Crystal Silva-Dominguez came in fourth in the 4×100 (51.44).
Anna Zwart came in seventh in the shot put (35-10.50) and Michoen Williamson came in 10th in the same event (34-11.75). Quinn Meyer came in ninth in the javelin (112-01) and Anna Zwart and Finley Luze came in 12th (106-07) and 14th (104-01), respectively, in the same event. Meyer also came in fourth in the high jump (5-00.00).
Arlington
The Cardinals tied for ninth with 32 points.
Chloe Raw came in second in the 100 meter dash (12.09) and the 200 meter run (24.32). Kaelyn Ulmschmid came in ninth in the 1600 (5:34.35) and 10th in the 3200 (12:07.91). Madalyn Madsen finished 24th in the 3200 (13:25.65). Hailey Miller, Gracelyn Miller, Jaelyn Huntimer and Raw came in second in the 4×100 (50.82).
Deubrook Area
The Dolphins tied for 11th with 23 points.
Kylee Johnson finished in fifth in the 800 (2:22.59) and sixth in the 400 (1:00.66). Neely Gustad came in 13th in the 800 (2:27.83) and Makenna Ekern came 16th in the same event (2:28.69). Kiana Schmit came in fifth in the shot put (36-08.25) and Zoey Molengraaf came in 22nd in the same event (32-05.75). Molengraaf also came in 17th in the javelin (102-08).
Iroquois/Lake Preston
The Sharks tied for 21st with 14 points. Hadlee Holt finished in third in the shot put (39-01.00).
Estelline/Hendricks
Ada Hartung came in 11th in the shot put (34-08.25) and Kori Saathoff came in 22nd in the triple jump (29-08.50).
