Three Bobcats named to All-State, All-Region teams

The Brookings high school baseball team had two players named to the All-State teams and three players named to the All-Region team.

Junior Jase Bauer and senior Tyson Antonen both made Second Team All-State. Both players were also on the All-Region team alongside sophomore Cooper Schneider.

Rapid City Stevens was the only team with two players that made First Team All-State. Sioux Falls Lincoln had the most All-State selections as the Patriots had one on the first team and three on the second team.

Brookings finished the season with a record of 11-19. The senior Legion team will begin play on Thursday with a doubleheader at Pierre. First pitch is set for 5 p.m.
