Cossacks come in 10th at West Central Invite

HARTFORD The Sioux Valley girls golf team came in 10th place in the West Central Invitational at Central Valley Golf Course on Monday.

The Cossacks had a team score of 424. Sioux Falls Christian came in first place with a score of 336. Vermillion came in second (343) and Madison came in third (353). Tournament host West Central came in fourth (358) and Dakota Valley finished in fifth (359).

Lillie Noble led the Cossacks and she came in 30th with a score of 99. Massey Top finished in 40th (105). Taylor Bastian and Abygale Degen each shot 110 and came in 43rd and 44th, respectively. Macy Bohnet was the final finisher for Sioux Valley and she came in 57th (126).

Sioux Falls Christians Tori Peterson came in first after shooting a 78. Dakota Valleys Katie Betsworth came in second (79) and Chamberlains Trey Speer came in third (80). West Centrals Ari Jacobs finished in fourth (81) and Dakota Valleys Addicyn Sailer rounded out the top five (82).

The Cossacks will play in Madison on Thursday at 10 a.m.
